Abstract
This paper mainly describes the overall design of the MQ2533 four-link gantry crane and the finite element analysis of its jib structure.In the part of overall design we have tried to finish the calculation of the cargo-horizontally-moving system and the jib-weight-balance system by using the calculation function of Excel and it works well.In the next part we use AutoCADto do the modeling.Then import the model to ANSYS to conduct the finite element analysis and check the strength and stiffness of its jib structure.
Using Excel to design and verify the result of the cargo-horizontally-moving system and the jib-weight-balance system is the key point of this paper. To some extent, unlike the traditional plot method that has complicated steps and inconvenience of modification. The method showed in this paper has advantages such as easy to operate and high accuracy in results. By using this method, the efficiency of the desigen work can be highly improved.
