Abstract
Heat pipe exchanger, which has further development especially in the environment of high temperature、high pressure and situation with large device, is widely used in the chemistry field in the following years because of its exclusive advantages such as lower lose of pressure, high heat transfer efficiency,a small quantity of maintenance costs and so on . In order to increase the heat transfer efficient in the vitriol system and avoid dew-point rusting, heat pipe has become generally accepted heat transfer elements instead of fin tube in such system. With the arising of variety of new technologies and application of automation and mechanization in the manufacture process, the developing of heat pipe exchanger will occupy an important position in the future.
In the present paper,a method of design is given on the typical heat pipe exchanger. Heat transfer factors、materials、structures and types are also discussed in the following chapters. The structural design includes: the design of fin tubes and heat pipes and other parts including the calculation and checking of intension for them.
