摘要：一座城市的发展离不开交通，我国的城市化已经发展到了一个新的时期，轨道交通在这次转型中扮演一个怎样重要的角色呢？如何利用轨道交通的建设来更好的促进城市的发展呢？本文针对杭州市的城市轨道交通进行研究，结合国内外的城市空间发展理论，对杭州市轨道交通现状进行了分析，并提出了适合杭州市的线网的布局模式,为我国其他的大城市的轨道交通线网规划奠定了一定的基础。
